According to CAAN spokesman Raj Kumar Chhetri, the Tribhuvan International Airport would send a circular to the airlines directing them to establish flight schedules taking health measures into account. According to him, a meeting between operators will be held to determine a flying schedule.

The Airlines Operator Association of Nepal (AOAN) has urged the government to boost the number of flights to make domestic passenger flights simpler and more affordable.

Previously, only 50% of all flights before Covid-19 were permitted to fly owing to the risk of a Covid-19 pandemic. Domestic flights on a regular basis began on July 1. Despite the country’s travel restriction, domestic flights were halted on April 29. Domestic flights have been operated by twenty domestic carriers, including ten helicopter companies.
