Air France announced its winter 2021-2022 schedule, which includes three additional sunny destinations. Air France intends to expand its flights in the Middle East, France’s Polynesia, and North America.

North America
Air France is set to expand its leisure destinations by introducing flights to Papeete, Dubai, and Miami. For instance, the airline’s Boeing 777-200 will boost its frequency from Paris to Los Angeles to Papeete to five times weekly. Meanwhile, Air France’s Miami flights will extend to twelve times weekly, in which Boeing 777-300 will serves daily flight and a five-times-weekly flight with an Airbus A350-900. Furthermore, Air France will raise its frequency to Dubai to 14 flights per week on its Boeing 777-200.

French Polynesia
Air France will commence service between Paris and Zanzibar, Tanzania, via Nairobi, on October 18. Air France intends to operate two flights each week using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. In 2015, low-cost airline XL Airways France served the same route.
Middle East
Furthermore, on October 31, Air France would restart service between Paris and Muscat, Oman. The airline last flew the oman route in 1994, using an Airbus A310. On Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the flight would be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
On its direct flight to Paris, which initially scheduled to begin daily service in the winter, the French carrier will compete with Oman Air. Additionally, during the winter season, KLM, Air France’s partner airline, will offer flights to Muscat through Abu Dhabi.
Srilanka flights
Consequently, Air France plans to restart service between Paris and Colombo, Sri Lanka, through a triangle route connecting Paris to Male, Maldives, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. The carrier last flew the route in 1994 using an Airbus A310. The route would be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner three times a week.
SriLankan Airlines used Airbus A330 aircraft to fly the route before the COVID-19 outbreak. Air France is only the airlines to operate direct flight from Western Europe to Sri Lanka, with Middle Eastern carriers such as Emirates and Qatar Airways posing the primary opponent.
Air France will operate all three new flights using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which has 276 seats, including 30 business class, 21 premium economy, and 225 economy.
Air France has announced that it will shortly reveal its complete winter schedule for 2021-2022; however, its timetable is subject to alteration under country-specific limitations following the covid outbreak.
