Airbus A350 for Singapore Airlines

The A350-900 has rapidly established itself as a key aircraft type within Singapore Airlines’ diversified fleet. The carrier made its initial order for the type in 2006 and has since placed three more orders for A350 aircraft. Indeed, the airline increased its total confirmed orders for the aircraft to 70 in 2013–a figure that was subsequently revised to 67. This comprises seven versions with an Ultra Long Range capability, identified formally as the A350-900ULR.  The airline presently operates 55 Airbus A350s.

Singapore Airlines has chosen three A350 variants.

Singapore Airlines’ varied fleet includes Airbus A330 and A380 aircraft, Boeing 737 aircraft (SilkAir), 777,  787, and the Boeing 747-400F.
