American Airlines has launched new routes and restored old ones, reaching approximately 6,700 daily flights to 350 destinations in 50 countries.
American Airlines has the world’s most extensive passenger jet fleet, with 890 frontline aircraft.
Charlotte to Samana
On Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:25 a.m., an Embraer 175 with a capacity for 88 passengers will depart Charlotte-Douglas International Airport for Samana International Airport, landing in the Dominican Republic at 12:58 p.m. The aircraft departs at 1:40 p.m. for Samana and arrives in Charlotte at 5:19 p.m.
The Samana was officially inaugurated by American Eagle flight AA3936, which arrived from Charlotte on June 5, 2021.
Mérida-Dallas
Each Saturday, a flight duration of 2 hours 40 minutes on an Embraer 175 will commence. The new Dallas-Mérida route aims to improve air connectivity and is being introduced to the United States market as another option.
Mexico
The extension of services between Mexico and the United States has been confirmed by American Airlines. There is a regular route between Cancún and Los Angeles and seasonal services connecting Mérida and Miami and Hermosillo and Phoenix.
Miami to Jackson
The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) has greeted the addition of seasonal flight services between Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN) and Miami International Airport (MIA).
During the busy summer season, the seasonal flight would fly on Saturdays to MIA, offering Jackson passengers fast connectivity to markets such as Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, and other central Florida destinations.
Israel
A new service connecting Miami and Tel Aviv has been launched by American Airlines. The addition of a second route to Israel marks American’s return to a region it hasn’t serviced in over five years. With a third route due to begin later this year, American Airlines is demonstrating its dedication to the market, bolstered by a transforming airline sector.
In 2016, American Airlines planned to eliminate its Tel Aviv flights. American Airlines was operating an Airbus A330 out of its Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) hub to Tel Aviv.
