Delta Air Lines Boeing 737-932(ER), Registration N830DN flight between Los Angeles to Nashville on Friday, a passenger attempted to approach the cockpit, forcing the jet to be diverted to Albuquerque.
The aircraft landed back safely, and the passenger was apprehended. According to Stephanie Kitts, the incident occurred soon after 2 p.m. local time, a spokesperson at Albuquerque International Sunport.
In a tweet, the FBI field office in Albuquerque said that it answered the airport and that there was no public safety danger. According to Delta, nobody was hurt in the incident.
According to the airline, travelers and staff members on Flight 386 participated in the detention of the “unruly” passenger.
The airline said, “The aircraft landed safely, and police and the FBI took the person.” “At this time, he is being held in custody.”
Delta reported that the remaining passengers would be flown from Albuquerque to Nashville on an aircraft that would arrive five hours late. Onboard the Boeing 737 were 162 travelers and six crew members.
Before anybody was hurt, Delta Flight 386 crew members assaulted and zip-tied the guy. According to the video, a guy in a Delta uniform wrestles with somebody out of view of the camera behind a row of seats.
