Kazakhstan’s Air Astana would begin regular nonstop flights between Almaty to Samarkand.

According to Air Astana, the additional route will be flown on the A321 airplane on Wednesdays and Sundays beginning June 9.

All travelers traveling in Uzbekistan should provide a negative coronavirus PCR result in English or Russian, either electronically or on paper. Within 72 hours of the sample being collected, the test result is deemed thoughtful. It is not necessary to take a quick test when visitors arrive. Antibody testing is inconsistent. Transit passengers going to other countries are not required to take a PCR test in Uzbekistan.

According to the company, Samarkand would become the second city in Uzbekistan to which Air Astana will conduct regular flights. Since 2010, the airline has operated direct flights to Tashkent.

In addition, Uzbekistan Airways has announced the introduction of additional routes to Kazakhstan. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, beginning May 29, the airline will fly from Urgench to Aktau.

Bees Airline, a Ukrainian airline, had announced intentions to begin flights between Kyiv and Samarkand, Uzbekistan, in July 2021. According to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, the regulator’s panel will review the company’s corresponding statement at a meeting on June 3.
