Flights were affected at most airports following the bad weather from Monday morning. Three airports in the Terai were not in operation till 10:30 am on Tuesday.
According to Dev Chandra Lal Karna, acting general manager of the Tribhuvan Airport Office, due to low visibility, landings at airports in Biratnagar, Janakpur, and Bhairahawa is disrupted.
He informed that the flight landed at Kathmandu Airport on Monday and Tuesday as usual. There are usually flights with a visibility of up to 1,000 meters in Kathmandu.
Karna stated that, due to visibility of up to 4,000 meters, no problems were landing and landing from Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday. He said that there are also international flights taking place.
Nepal Airlines from Hong Kong, Qatar Airways from Doha, Nepal Airlines from Dubai, Air India from Delhi, Himalayan Airlines from Dammam, and Nepal Airlines from Doha have all landed, according to the Tribhuvan Airport Office.
