Special fares and additional baggage allowances for students traveling from Kathmandu to Europe and the USA have been revealed by Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines operates three weekly flights to Istanbul from Kathmandu.
Notice from Turkish Airlines: Passengers unable to board the flights
Passengers unwilling to board a flight if they are not approved by the departure country and/or have a positive COVID-19 test outcome may adjust the ticket, demand a refund, adjust the ticket to an accessible ticket, or change the date of the ticket. If the ticket is released on or before December 31, 2020, the payment must be concluded by December 31, 2021. A planned domestic and international flight originating from Turkey between June 11 and December 31, 2020, must be the appropriate flight. Person and party ticket sales, independent of the fare guidelines, may be done once and for free.

Turkish Airlines has temporarily closed the Lounge services except for the Domestic and International Terminal at Istanbul, Lounge at Ankara Esenboga Airport Domestic Terminal, and Turkish Airlines Lounge at Washington D.C.
