Airbus has finally delivered the first A321neo to the Swiss, a flag carrier of Switzerland.
Airbus has finally delivered the first A321neo to the Swiss, Switzerland flag carrier. The new Airbus A321neo is registered as HB-JPA and is called “Stoos” after the name of the village in the Swiss canton of Schwyz.
Airbus delivered the first Airbus A350neo aircraft to Swiss on Feb 2020. Two A320neos are now apart of the Swiss fleet right now. Besides, a further 15 A320neos and seven A321neos would be introduced to the service.
The new 25 A320neo family airplanes would eventually substitute the global fleet of older A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft from the Swiss fleet.
In addition to the A320 family aircraft, Swiss conducts long-haul services mostly on the A330-300, A340-300, and Boeing 777-300ER.
