Turkish Airlines to commence three flights a week to Kathmandu

Throughout October, Turkish Airlines is on preparation to commence three weekly flights from Kathmandu. The carrier has only operated one flight per week since the Nepal government allowed its skies for scheduled flights.

Mr. Abdullah Tuncer Kececi, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Kathmandu, said, “We intend to fly three scheduled weekly flights from Istanbul to Kathmandu as of October. Since Nepal seems to be our attraction for tourism, we will be planning to raise the pace in the coming months, based on the legal restrictions entering Nepal for foreigners and Nepalese residing abroad due to Corona.”
