Himalaya Airlines was allowed to undertake scheduled flights to Chongqing, Kuala Lumpur, and Abu Dhabi, where PCR tests are comfortably possible, following the approval of the government of Nepal to start scheduled international flights from September 01, 2020. In certain sectors, where PCR tests are confined, flights for charter repatriation would proceed according to government actions.
For the repatriation services, the corresponding government-approved fares are available. These rates include the relevant taxes and the regulation of agencies. Passengers are also only expected to pay the specified fare and can return immediately to the Airlines in the event of a request for any extras. Any travel agent discovered to collect extra sums beyond and below the advertised fares would be liable for penalty under the statute.
