AOC, Parking fees and various fees waived for airlines as compensation

The Government of Nepal has announced to provide waiver to various fees to airlines operating inside Nepal that have been hit hard by the COVID-19 lockdown.
According to the decision of Council of Ministers, the airline operating inside Nepal will get 75 percentage discount on parking fees effective from March 14, 2020 until the next month after the lock down ends.
Apart from this, the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Certificate of Airworthiness renewal fees will also be waived. The CAA Nepal revenue collection would be drastically reduced with this decision of Government however, this is a sound decision to provide some relief to airline industry.
This is expected to provide some relief to the airline operators of the country that have been hardly impacted because of their grounded fleets right after the lockdown till today.
