A meeting of the High-Level Coordination Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19, on Wednesday, decided to extend the ongoing suspension of domestic and international flights until June 14. Earlier, the suspension was in effect until May 31.
Since March 24, Nepal has stopped regular and charter flights with other countries as part of the government’s plan to stem the spread of the coronavirus which has claimed 02 lives and infected over 427 people in the country.
However multiple repartition, medical supplies, and special flights have been permitted nationally and internationally. CAAN forces no restrictions for those special flights but special approval for those flights needs to be obtained before getting into skies.
