A Buddha Air’s chartered aircraft ATR 42-320 ‘9N-AIT’ has flown to Dhaka, Bangladesh today with passengers form Bangladesh stranded at Nepal after the lockdown. The flight took off at 3:00 PM today from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) today.
The flight was carrying 13 total Bengali passengers on board during the flight. The flight was chartered by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Nepal. The return flight will also be done today as stated by an official.
In the same way, a Nepal Airlines flight also took off from Kathmandu to Delhi today in the morning to evacuate Brazilian citizens. The Government has imposed a 2-week extension on the prevailing lockdown all over the country
