Manang Air has deployed its Airbus H125 (AS350 B3e) with registration ‘9N-ANJ’ for a medical rescue flight after the flight permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
The helicopter with registration ‘9N-ANJ’ carried this operation under the command of Capt. Prakash Kumar Sedhain to Chhaikampar Lar Gaon, a restricted area in Gorkha District from Tribhuvan International Airport at 11:15 AM this morning to rescue a Nepalese patient. The helicopter fetches the patient to Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Kathmandu.
Similarly, an H125 helicopter of Nepal Army ‘NA-055’ also has been deployed for rescuing a woman in labor pain from Dolpa at 11:15 AM. The helicopter will fetch the patient to Nepalgunj hospital for further treatment.
Similarly an Agusta AW319 of Nepal Army ‘NA-058’ went to Dhangadhi from Kathmandu and to different sites including Darchula to collect the swab samples of Corona suspected patients. The helicopter will bring all the samples today at Kathmandu.
Despite the government circulated the notice of nation lockdown, as per CAAN circular stated that there would not be any effect on medical rescue operations during nation lockdown the rescue missions are being carried out by private operators.
According to COVID Crisis Management Operation Center (CCMC), it has been informed all the private helicopter operators to incessantly operate the helicopter in Government Missions and keep their aircraft standby all the time.
