Nepal Airlines second flight departs for Guangzhou China to collect medical supplies

Nepal Airlines aircraft has departed for China to collect medical supplies — including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), test kits, among others — required for the treatment of COVID-19.
As per the source Airbus A330 9N-ALY flight number RA 4171 took off at 11:26 this morning to Guangzhou from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and is expected to return at evening, on Thrusday.
The flight took off after receiving special permission from TIA.
Meanwhile, China government is also preparing to take back its citizens stranded in Nepal.
According to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), an airbus of Air China is coming to Nepal to airlift its citizens. The NTB has urged Chinese citizens willing to return home to contact the Embassy.
Various countries have been evacuating their citizens from Nepal after it banned international flights until April 15 to combat coronavirus.
