Foreigner tourists who have been locked down in Lukla have been brought to Kathmandu today by a special rescue mission flight. 16 tourists were brought to Kathmandu via Tara Air twin otter aircraft.
Among the rescued ones five are French and others from different countries. They have been kept at the Everest Hotel, Baneshwor for now.
They were stuck as the government announced a sudden lockdown to prevent the Corona virus from spreading.
Also, Buddha Air ATR 72 just landed in TIA from Pokhara with tourist who were locked in Pokhara with rescued dozens of tourists.
