Nepal Airlines international flights avoid Iranian airspace

After an American operation killed the General of Iran, the successive trauma and chaos inside the country have straightly drawn attraction of the world as well as Nepal Airlines in Nepal. Following the incidence, Nepal Airlines has instructed all the pilots flying its aircraft to the Middle East to strictly avoid the Iranian Airspace. Nepal Airlines flights now will follow the Oman Airspace omitting the Iranian airspace it used in its previous flights to the Middle East.

The carrier has said to take this instruction for safety reasons. Previously, the carrier’s flights to the Middle East took India, Pakistan and Iran Airspace in sequence from Nepal. After the alteration of air route, the scheduled flights will now land few minutes later than the previous time. The destinations affected would be Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
