Buddha Air has broken its previous record of flying the highest number of passengers in a single day. The carrier had previously obtained this record of flying highest number of passengers in a day just a week ago. The carrier broke this record yesterday again flying 6180 number of passengers, the highest till yet. Last September 26, it flew with 5592 passengers and created a record for flying highest number of passenger in a day. That time also the carrier had broken its own record of flying highest number of passengers last year during this festive season.
Buddha Air has been creating record in paying the highest amount of tax for the nation from the airlines sector. It received award for paying the highest amount of tax in fiscal year 2075/076 on September 27, 2019, the world tourism day. It has also been awarded with awards of best managed airliner and best chosen airliner multiple of times. Buddha Air is undoubtedly the most leading domestic carrier of the nation with the records of flying highest number of passengers in a single day multiple of times.
Buddha Air is also the carrier with highest number of ATR fleet in Nepal. It’s very recent addition on ATR 72-500 aircraft from private holding of Jet Airways aircraft, ‘9N-ANI’ has already started flying passengers in this festive season. With this Buddha Air has fleet of 8 ATR 72-500, 3 ATR 42-320 and 2 Beechcraft 1900 D series aircraft with altogether 13 aircraft. ATR aircraft of Buddha Air have also been flying to international destinations from the country.
