Tourism Minister to initiate flying school in Nepal; Pilot course now in Nepal

Newly appointed honorable Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has proposed to establish a flying school in Nepal to break the trend of Nepalese Student flying to foreign countries for Pilot Training in heavy expense. He had told that he would break this trend of spending more than NRs. 5 Million for pilot training in foreign countries and minimize the cost to NRs. 3 Million by commencing a flying school here in Nepal.

He has committed to outbreak a detailed proposal about flying school in Nepal soon in coming days. Since airlines are also in continuous need of pilots, he has expected that his proposal for initiating a flight school would take a shape soon with coordination and involvement of Nepalese carriers too.

Philippines, South Africa, New Zealand and U.S.A are some of the most chosen destinations by Nepalese students for flight training.
