Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), national flag carrier has published Press Release regarding resuming flights to Osaka, Japan today.
The corporation will launch regular flights to Osaka from May 2 (Ashar 19).
According to the flight schedule, NAC will operate 3 flights weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The aircraft of NAC will take off at 2:30 AM from Kathmandu and land at 11:55 AM in Osaka according to local time whereas as per the local time of Osaka, the aircraft will take off at 1:55 PM and will land at 6 PM in Kathmandu.
The flights to Osaka will be operated with A330-200 aircraft.
Previously, NAC used to operate 2 flights weekly and stopped its flight services due to lack of aircraft.
According to the summer flight schedule of NAC, the flight duration between Kathmandu-Osaka and Osaka-Kathmandu will be around 6 hours 30 minutes.
In the second phase, the corporation has started processing as it has planned to conduct scheduled flights to Narita International Airport.
The corporation has informed that after commencing flights to Narita, the corporation will operate 2-2 flights weekly.
Nawaraj Koirala, NAC Assistant Spokesperson stated that the corporation has allocated NRs. 45,000 ticket price for one way and NRs. 80,000 for two ways.
The corporation does not have to reduce the flight number of any destinations in order to conduct flights to Japan. The wide-body aircraft will operate for 15 hours daily.
Likewise, NAC has added 3 flights to New Delhi from May 1 conducting 2 flights daily.
The corporation is also preparing to operate flights China, South Korea, Riyadh and to other European countries.
