Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) Rabindra Adhikari has appealed Home ministry to recruit young human resource at the country’s sole international airport Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Minister Adhikari urged Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa to recruit only young human resource after he received lot of criticism regarding airport immigration.
There have been a lot of complaints about lack of feeling of hospitality among current employees as the ministry has received complaints regarding rude behavior of the employees towards passengers.
Along with such behaviors, the employees have been found guilty in various illegal activities frequently thus tourism ministry requested to recruit comparatively young employees as it might help in change and reduction of such activates and behaviors.
Airport officials have also been positive about recruiting new and young generation employees as they will be more updated about latest technology and are prone towards change.
As per CAAN, most of the complaints they registered are from immigration department and stated that foreign airport have mostly recruited young employees with hospitality background.
Immigration department has also been lately focusing and prioritizing in young employees after request of tourism ministry.
Along with immigration department, other department’s employee’s work also need to be improved stated CAAN and officials from ministry stated that behavior of the employees also make impact on tourism sector of the country.
