Qatar Airways make changes in the flight schedule from Kathmandu

The flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways has altered its time for its flight on Kathmandu-Doha flights.

Taking advance of daily 21 hours operations of the only international airport, Tribhuvan International Airport, one of the daily four flights will depart Kathmandu at 02:10 and reach Doha at 04:45 to connect major US and European destination within 3 hours.

The Airlines planning to change its flight timing was on initiation of Ministry of Culture and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), Rabindra Adhikari and Director General for CAA Nepal Sanjeev Gautam. The authorities had urged the airways to change its timing for the full fledged use of Airport services.

The airways had also announced to swap to wide body aircraft from narrow body from September 15, this year.

Qatar Airways, Country Manager for Nepal,  Jayaprakash Nair stated that, “the Change in flight timing and enhanced capacity will make our airlines more capable to cater the high demand during peak season time from tourists to the corporate business travelers.”

The flag carrier of Qatar comprises of 147 aircraft’s in its fleet. It is one of the leading airlines of world founded on 22 Nov, 1993. Recently, Qatar Airways has been renowned as world’s reliable airlines.
