Nepal Airlines’ 2nd A330 ‘9N-ALZ’ flies to Bangkok as 1st commercial flight

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) second Airbus A330 ‘Makalu’ 9N-ALZ started commercial flight today as the flight RA401 took off to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 10:34 am today from Tribhuvan International Airport.

The second A330 received Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) recently and it was not mandatory to conduct proving flight as the first A330 had done it and both the aircraft are of same type and configurations.

Corporation’s spokesperson Rabindra Shrestha previously said that the second A330 will be conducting first commercial flight by August 25-27 to Doha but it conducted its first flight to Bangkok today.

First Airbus A330 “Annapurna” started its first commercial flights from Kathmandu to Doha on August 1 whereas on August 16, 2018, it conducted commercial flights to Bangalore. It has already started flights to Bangkok.
