The Russian Manufactured Mi-8MTV-1, with registration ‘9N-AHT’ that crash landed at Syangboche airport on May 09 during landing incurring minor damages on the aircraft is getting repaired.
According to the Officials, the airline engineering team is working on repairing the wounded chopper. The aircraft’s damaged nose landing gear is being replaced with the new one and is anticipated to fly back to sky within a couple of days.
The ‘9N-AHT’ chopper was operating as a cargo flight en-route from Phaplu Airport Helipad to Syangboche Airfield. Following the incident during landing at Syangboche, the aircraft remains grounded at the Airport.
