According to Officials, the airline announced to operate additional two schedule flight to Jomsom route effective from May 22, 2018 until June 30, 2018 due to the increasing demand for Jomsom sector by the local passengers and tourists.

According to CAAN officials, the number of air passengers increased at Mustang after the winter season came to an end.  In the winter season, the flights got reduced as there were fewer passengers. The number of Indian tourists has been relatively high at present.

Tara Air conducted only one flight per day in the winter season and most of the flights were cancelled due to low visibility, high wind factor and disturbance in reroute. Due to the geographical structure and unfavorable weather phenomena, Jomsom airport is frequently hit by disturbance in flight operation.

Tara Air has been flying a regular flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. The Airline has been providing air service in the remote and mountainous region of the country; and has been truly a friend of the general people living in the hilly areas of the country where road access is difficult.
