Nepal Airlines solicits for the Maintenance with Lease Engine Support of V2527E-A5 Engines

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAM) Department at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal has invited a bid from all interested reputed MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul services) for Shop maintenance/Repair/Overhaul/Refurbishment with Lease Engine Support services for its V2527E-A5 engines.

The state owned flag carrier of Nation, NAC issued a notice on 11th of May, 2018. As per the notice, the Guidelines for submission of the proposal are elaborated in 3.0 Instruction to the SUPPLIER or BIDDER – 3.3 Delivery of the sealed Tender, 3.4 Preparation/ Completeness of the Tender.

Issued Notice state that the prospective MROs must have EASA part 145 or FAA Approved Repair Station certificate and respective country’s Civil Aviation Authority approved part145 or Repair Station certificates with the scope of approval and appropriate rating for complete repair/overhaul/refurbishment of V2527E-A5 engines. The Prospective MRO must guarantee the lease engine support, when required. . Failure to do so shall render the tender disqualified.

The complete bid with necessary documentation must be submitted to the Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAM) Department of NAC at Tribhuvan International Airport within 45 Days from the date of Published (May 11, 2018). The Sealed Tender Document can be downloaded from the first date of publication of this notice in the page Notice/ Announcement of NAC website: www.nepalairlines.com.np. Sealed tender of modifications sent through electronic means of communication fax, email, etc. within the stipulated date will not be accepted.

Presently, the corporation has two Airbus A320-233 aircraft powered by a pair of V2527E-A5 Engines.
