Sameer Sumil Sewa Construction Company has been building the airport. Out of 78 ropani 90 anna land of the airport, 56 ropani land belongs to the public property. 46 landowners in that area have been provided with compensation and also have been shifted to another location.

It is seen that the road from Tamghas Deurali to airport is narrow and needs to be blacktopped. The flights should be conducted before noon because the wind is more vibrant at the region after noon.

For the test flight, the 570m runway of the airport is ready. Dinesh Pariyar, sub-engineer stated that the finalization of runway structure is going on for the test flight. The construction work of airport was delayed when the government couldn’t provide fund at time.

So far, the government has spent more than 12crores for the airport project. Upon completion, more than 25 crores is expected to be used.
