Buddha Air awarded as the best domestic airline company of the nation

Buddha Air, which has been longstanding tall for 22 years, has been awarded as the best domestic airline company of the nation by Frost and Sullivan Awards recently in a program conducted at Kathmandu.

HR Manager, Mr. Khagendra Bahadur Basnet, received the prestigious award on behalf of Buddha Air.

“We are proud and honored to receive the Frost and Sullivan Award for the best airline of Nepal for 2018. These types of awards motivate us further to provide better services in the coming days.” an official from Buddha Air vowed.

This profound airline company has been receiving various honorable awards since past years. In 2017 the company had awarded as Nepal Brand Leadership award. In 2014 and 2012 the Government of Nepal awarded the airlines company with the award as “Highest Income Tax Payer in Aviation Tourism Sector.”

Established on 23 April 1996, with a fleet of a Beechcraft 1900D manufactured by Raytheon Aircraft (Presently as Hawker Beechcraft) is a largest airline operator of Nepal today with a fleet of 10 aircraft, an employee base of 850, occupies 63 percent market share of domestic flights and is operating domestics as well as international service in India and Bhutan.
