Etihad Airways offers extra luggage provision for Nepali Students

New luggage offer has been brought by Etihad Airways for Nepali Students travelling abroad. The airlines brought the new promotional policy by allowing students to carry 10 kg extra luggage during their travel via their aircraft.

The gulf-based carrier issued a statement stating that Students from Nepal visiting several countries for their study via Etihad Airways are now allowed to carry additional 10 kilograms of luggage. Students traveling from Nepal to different destinations across Australia, Europe, Japan and South Korea in Economy class can avail the facility, announced the airlines.

The offer is available for tickets bought until April 30 and for travel until August 31, 2018, the statement added. This is sure to help students to carry necessary items in foreign country and the offer is likely to help the carrier equally as trend for studying abroad has grown rapidly in Nepali market.

Etihad Airways has already marked its 10th anniversary of scheduled flight operations between Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu. The airline launched its schedule flights between UAE and Nepal on 28 October 2007 with four services a week. The frequency rose to two flights a day in 2013 due to the escalating flow of Nepali workers and tourists.

The carrier has served more than 1.2 million travelers between the two capital cities since 2007. Both corporate and leisure travellers have used the services between Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu and connecting cities across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America. These include Amsterdam, Cairo, Chicago, Dammam, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Milan, New York, Paris, Rome, Sydney, Toronto and Washington.
