Saurya Airlines CRJ-200 ‘9N-AME’ on C-Check at China

Saurya Airlines CRJ-200 ‘9N-AME’ departed to Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport, China on November 15 for its C-Check.

The C-Check will require approximately 15 to 25 days for the completion. The aircraft departed China under the command of Pilot Kumar, Anup Thapa and Manish Shakya.

C-Check is the advanced maintenance check requiring a majority of the aircraft’s components to be inspected. It is performed approximately every 20-24 months or a specific amount of actual flight hours or as per the requirement details from the manufacturer. Due to the complexity of C-check, it is carried out in a hangar at a maintenance base having huge space.

The Bombardier CRJ-200 ‘9N-AME’ successfully accomplished its first schedule flight to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Nepalgunj and Bhairahawa from Tribhuvan International Airport on April 20. This is the second CRJ jet owned by Saurya after ‘9N-ALE’.

At present, Saurya Airlines is operating flights to the major destinations with its Bombardier CRJ-200 ‘9N-ALE. The company is also in the process of acquiring addition CRJ aircraft.
