Shree Airlines, a reputed helicopter operator and a newly established fixed wing airline in Nepal introduced its CRJ-700 to the Nepalese sky as it conducted its first commercial flight today. As per the information, the CRJ-700 conducted its flight to Dhangadhi and Bhadrapur this morning and its next flight to Bhairahawa is scheduled for 1600 local time today.
Corporate Manager for Shree Airlines Mr. Anil Manandhar said that the CRJ-700 aircraft will be conducting 2 daily flights to Dhangadhi and one flight each for Bhadrapur and Bhairahawa sector.
The airline launched its first commercial service on August 12, this year with the Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. Shree currently operates between Kathmandu and the regional destinations; Bhadrapur, Bhairawaha, Dhangadi, Biratnagar and Nepalgunj along with mountain flight service with its two CRJ-200 and one CRJ-700 aircraft.
Shree Airlines conducted its Proving Flight (Test Flight) on 4th August this year and acquired AOC from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). Bombardier Commercial Aircraft congratulated Shree Airlines, the largest operator of helicopters in Nepal on the launch of a new regional jet service with CRJ Series aircraft in Nepal.

It owns and operates a mixed fleet of helicopters in Nepal and in Africa from time to time for UN Peace Keeping Operations as well as World Food Program. In operations since 1999, Shree is a leader in Nepalese aviation sector. It has been serving the people of Nepal living in some of the remotest and inaccessible parts of Nepal.
