The aircraft is expected to leave from Airbus Helicopter Southeast Asia, Singapore on 29th August and Land Nepal via transiting in Surat Thani of Thailand, Yangon in Myanmar, and Dhaka in Bangladesh following Biratnagar in Eastern Nepal. Captain Sobit Gauchan, Operation Director for Altitude Air and Captain Nischal K.C will be commanding the ferry flight from Singapore outbound for Kathmandu along with the Maintenance Manager Mr. Anirudra Shrestha who will be on the ferry flight.
The aircraft which is a new version of the AS 350 B3e series with fully integrated Glass Cockpit has acquired Nepalese Registration ‘9N-AMS’. The aircraft will land Nepal on either 1st or 2nd of September.
Altitude Air is a very young company established on 2016 which has fastened its seat belt to introduce European manufactured helicopter AS 350 B3e in Nepalese aviation industry. This approach is very efficient for the country like Nepal because most active heli-companies are operating their flights with same series of helicopters.
