Shree Airlines finally receives Air Operator’s Certificate from CAAN

Shree Airlines after conducting its Proving Flight (Test Flight) on 4th August this year has successfully acquired AOC from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

Mr. Anil Manandhar, Corporate Manager for Shree Airlines noted Aviation Nepal that Shree Airlines will be conducting its schedule flight from tomorrow (11th August, 2017) by its CRJ-200 aircraft.

Schedule Flight is expected to operate on Kathmandu-Nepalgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi route from tomorrow.

Although Shree had already grasped Nepalese Registration from CAAN on Late August this year but had failed to obtain AOC but now has acquired it after waiting hefty time period. The registration for two 50 seated Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft is ‘9N-AMC’ and ‘9N-AMA’ and for CRJ-700 it is ‘9N-AMB’.

After Saurya Airlines, Shree becomes the second Nepali carrier to fly Bombardier aircraft. Shree plans to conduct mountain flights and domestic flights to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi with its arrived Bombardier jets.
