Sita Air Dornier 9N-AHR meets an incident in Phaplu Airport

Flight number 617 of Sita Air has met a minor incident at Phaplu Airport, Salleri. Wing tip of Dornier 9N-AHR aircraft of Sita was damaged as the aircraft hit the wall at parking section of Phaplu Airport.
As been reported by an officer from Sita, only the wing tip of the aircraft was cracked. None of the individuals have been reported injured and entire 17 on board individuals are safe.
Dornier aircraft belonging to Sita Air had taken off from TIA for Lukla at around 6:30 this morning but the adverse weather conditions at Lukla had diverted the aircraft to land in Phaplu. The aircraft was taxing at Phphlu Airport when it hit the wall at the parking section resulting in cracking the wing tip of the Dornier Aircraft.
An engineering team led by Er.R.S Basi has left for Phaphlu Airport to maintain the aircraft.
