Air Arabia flight suffered bird strike in Kathmandu

Air Arabia flight G9532 en route to Sharjah from Kathmandu had suffered a bird strike shortly after taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport on March 24. The Airbus A320 aircraft made an emergency landing at Amausi Airport, Lucknow after suffering a bird hit prompting the crew to divert the flight.
The plane was carrying total of 182 passengers with flight crews. The Gulf-based airline claimed that the entire passengers and crew members were safe and the passengers were provided with hotel accommodation.
According to a source, the aircraft is under maintenance however; it is unlikely to come into operation soon.
