Saurya Airlines Second Jet Landing Kathmandu Tomorrow

Saurya Airlines, the pride of aviation industry of Nepal, is set to escalate its fleet with an additional Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft. The company is currently operating through a 50-seater Bombardier CRJ-200 with registration ‘9N-ALE’, serving the domestic routes namely Nepalgunj, Biratnagar and Bhadrapur. Saurya Airlines has been able to enter into limelight in short period of time by providing quality service with on time performance, optimum safety and affordable fares.
According to Mr. Bivechan Khanal, Deputy Manager of the company, the second aircraft is scheduled to arrive at Kathmandu on March 12, 2017 at 4:30 PM Local Time. As per Mr. Khanal, the inclusion of second aircraft will certainly enhance Saurya’s fleet and boost the confidence of the Company. It will also contribute in increasing the operation capacity of Saurya Airlines. The CRJ-200 is the quietest, spacious and most comfortable aircraft in its class which is safe, reliable and environment friendly with the ability to fly at fastest speed among all other existing airlines in Nepal.
The airline believes that the addition of CRJ-200 series aircraft will support and widen the connectivity network on the trunk short haul routes and mountain flight and also will be saving time of passengers. “The company is working ahead to commence the operation from the aircraft as early as possible after its arrival,” said Khanal. He also added that the company intends to increase its destinations to Bhairahawa, Dhangadhi and will also conduct Mountain Flights with the second aircraft.
