Additional Let 410 arriving on Sunday (Goma Air)

February 24, 2017-Bangkok

Goma Air, one of the relentless airline companies, has been executing the domestic air services and is set to receive two additional Let-410 aircraft on 26th February 2017 by 11 A.M, Sunday. Let-410 is a twin-engine turboprop short range transport aircraft and is manufactured by the Czech aircraft manufacturer LET.

The two additional Let-410 will increase Goma Air’s fleet number to six. The company then will be the proud owner of four LET-410 UVP-E20 and two Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft. The two Let 410 aircraft set to arrive will have a registration number “9N-AMG” and “9N-AMH”.

The aircraft, previously belonging to PANH Airlines, took off to join its new base in Nepal in February 18, 2017 and is scheduled to land at Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday. The aircraft will be arriving on the command of Captain Manish Panta, Captain Ang Dorje Sherpa, Captain Bipul Pokhrel and First Officer Lakhpa Sherpa along with the engineering team Sunil Thapa and Prajol Jung Rana. The two aircraft are now in Bangkok International Airport as stated by the Goma Air officials.

Upon the arrival of the additional aircraft, Goma Air will be adding new destinations namely Tumlingtar, Taplejung, Pokhara, Jomsom and Nepalgunj and will established the new hub at Pokhara. Those aircraft will be conducting flights within a week from the date of arrival however; there are two to three pending documentations from CAAN.
