NAC working to start online ticketing protocol

Nepal airlines are working to start online ticketing protocol.

According to MD Sugat Ratna Kansakar the airlines are working on the process to start the online ticketing system for the airlines.

He also reported that the national flag carrier has already selected two companies from India and Thailand for the online ticketing system.

As been informed, lack of online ticketing system has affected the sales of flag carrier compelling the passengers to travel with the private airlines.

The airlines will shortly sign an agreement with the Indian and Thai company for purchasing of the software system to used for e -ticketing.

We were also informed that the e-booking system will be started within three months period by Nepal Airlines.

Besides National flag carrier currently, entire private airlines are operating their online ticketing service in Nepal.

MD of Nepal airlines also added that the e-ticketing will result in to increase the sales of flag carrier’s national and international fleet.
