Nepal Military Aircraft with President onboard gets diverted

January 27, 2017-KATHMANDU

Today, a military rotary aircraft with Nepal President, Bidya Devi Bhandari onboard made an emergency landing in Dang district.

As per the district police officials, president was heading to inaugurate for the program at Dhangadi District. The chopper was forced to make divert due to bad weather and was land at 11:30 AM at APF base camp.

The president later was flown to Dhangadhi at about 2:30 PM following the improvement of the weather.
