Himalayan Airlines rearranges flight schedule to Colombo

Himalayan Airlines has proclaimed modification on its flights to Colombo in effect from January 21 till April 4.
An announcement by the airlines specified its Airbus A320 (H9 673) will now hover from Tribhuvan International Airport at 4 pm and land at Bandaranaike International Airport at 7:30 pm. The identical airplane will fly back to Kathmandu an hour later at 8:30 pm and land in TIA at 11:45 night-time.
Vijay Shrestha, airlines management’s Vice president, said the flights had to be reorganized due to the continuing maintenance exertion on the runway in Bandaranaike Airport, Colombo. The airport remains shut from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm every day up to April 6 for maintenance on the runway, said Shrestha.
The airline functions two trips a week on Tuesday and Saturday to Colombo with its 158-seater Airbus A320.
The airlines instigated commercial flights between Kathmandu and Colombo on October 1, 2016, continuing unswerving air associations with Sri Lanka after more than three decades.
