International airline companies can now post an Air-Marshall inside the flight

The provision of posting an in-flight security officer has been open to the international airlines in their aircraft landing at Kathmandu airport.
As per the Civil Aviation Security Act 2073, the airlines can post an Air-Marshall in their aircraft after taking permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the act has already been on implementation.
The officials of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have stated that the airlines can keep Air-Marshall after informing to the airport management. Nepal government hasn’t allowed keeping the Air-Marshall till now.
The Indian airline corporation has been cautious in checking the Nepalese passengers including the secondary checking of passengers’ body and hand bags before entering the aircraft, after the hijacking of the aircraft of Indian airlines that flew from Kathmandu on 24th of December 1999 A.D.
Nepal also has the provision of keeping an Air-Marshall in the flights but it also has to go through the regulations of the country it flew in.
An Air-Marshall always resides inside the flight and is always dressed as a commoner.
