Goma Air faces minor incident during landing at Talcha Airport

A Let 410 series aircraft with registration 9N-AKZ of Goma Air outbound from Nepalgunj to Mugu experienced a tyre burst incident during landing at Talcha Airport.
The aircraft was carrying 15 passengers and 3 crew on board that prepared to land at Talcha airport 11:00 AM. The right main landing gear tyre of the aircraft was punctured during the landing roll according to the local police officers and the District Administration Office.
However, the Managing Director of Goma Air Mr. Manoj Karki claimed that the tyre was not punctured. He informed that the Captain of the before proceeding to another flight for next flight found a rupture in tye during 360 degree inspection and wanted to change the tyre to avoid any risk. Thereafter the next flight was continued after the tyre was changed by the technicians, he added.
Since the tyre burst incident did not result into a serious incidentall the passengers and crew were safe. The aircraft itself was saved from a big disaster.
To exchange the tyres Goma Air technicians and tyre was traveled to Talcha Airport by a Tara Air Twin otter aircraft from Nepalgunj.
After the accomplishment of the exchange the LET aircraft returned to Nepalgunj airport at 2:15 PM only.
