NAC doing groundwork to conduct flights to Guangzhou, China
Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has started groundwork to continue fights to Guangzhou, China.
The national flag carrier is looking for authorization from Chinese authority at Guangzhou International Airport as share of its tactics to re-enter the Chinese mainland after approximately a decade, a highly positioned source at NAC said.
The NAC had stopped its provision on Kathmandu-Shanghai-Kathmandu route in 2008 due to deficiency of aircraft.
“With the accumulation of two aircraft over the last two years and two more within the succeeding two years, NAC has premeditated to re-enter the Chinese mainland assumed the mounting tourist appearances from the northern neighbor in current years,” the official said.
China is Nepal’s second major source arcade for tourists next to India.
