Tourism bonds with aviation, Soaltee and NAC adhere in business bringing promotion

Soaltee Crowne Plaza Kathmandu and Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) have come into a commercial concurrence for dual partnership in promoting shared commerce possibilities focusing on tourism and the markets which are accessible internationally. Especially, the markets where passengers often fly via the airlines like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Dubai are assumed to in more tourists.

The agreement has been signed by Upaul Majumdar, general manager of Soaltee, and Sugat Ratna Kansakar, managing director of NAC which held on Tuesday.

With the fact that NAC has 12 percent share in the Soaltee Hotel Limited which remains one of the oldest 5 star extravagance hotels in Nepal, has made the agreement feasible. Mr. Kansakar expressed that NAC has been focusing on giving prominence to corporate business travelers and tourists on the same event.

Kansakar also pointed out that Kathmandu has been the most expensive tourist destination in Asia. Likewise, both parties have also agreed on promoting each other’s business through joint marketing programs.

“With this reciprocally beneficial union, we anticipate a consequential augment in tenancy in both airlines and hotel rooms which will ultimately add to the gross income.”

Majumdar said influencing the InterContinental Hotels Group network by bringing in the joint marketing at New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Dubai is on his bucket list.

He also added that being a part of Intercontinental Hotel Group which is linked with brands of high echelon like Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and they have been trying to influence network and establish the business here in Nepal and Kathmandu.

Principally targeting MICE (Meetings, Incentive, and Conference & Exhibition) packages, both the parties have concluded to pass out float packages in India and Dubai markets whose main objective would be the increment in the current of tourists in Kathmandu.
