Crashed chopper 9N-AJI of Fishtail Air makes its last flight to Kathmandu

A chopper of Fishtail Air that crashed in Langtang after its rotor blew off the body is being air lifted back to Kathmandu. Eight months after the crash the wreckage of the crashed aircraft has finally been able to fly again in the sky with the lift produced by another B3 aircraft of Fishtail Air, the Dragon.
The Airbus AS 350 B3 aircraft with registration 9N-AJI mishap took place last March when it was about to take off from Langtang carrying the relief supplies to the victims of devastating earthquake of 2015.
The sling operation of the wreckage is being commanded by an Italian Pilot Captain Maurizio Folini and Capt. Tim Field. Pilot Niklas was the PIC of 9N-AJI aircraft when it crashed in Langtang.
The wreckage has already landed in Kathmandu and further process of assembly will be scheduled soon and after which it will be handed over to Capt. Bed Upreti.
An official from Fishtail Air informed that the crashed aircraft has been sold to Capt. Bed Upreti already for the display in the new proposed aircraft museum of crashed Turkish Airlines’ Airbus 330-300 that has been recently handed over to him. The frame of the aircraft will be provided for display the museum.
