Makalu Air’s Grand Caravan met with an incident in Simikot Airport

Makalu Air’s Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, with a call sign 9N-AJG, was taking cargo in it when met with an incident this morning at the Simikot Airport in Humla of mid-western Nepal.
The two crew members who were present on the aircraft that met the confrontation have been described safe.
According to a source, the onboard pilot, Capt. Sangye Lama, was pre-informed by an ATC officer of Simikot airport about the technical problem, i.e., puncturing of tyres due to which the aircraft was made to skid off near the runway.
The aircraft was on the route from Surkhet to Simikot taking some goods.
Previously, on 21 Nov 2011, the aircraft had taken off from Surkhet Airport, en route to Talcha Airport. Upon touchdown at Talcha, the aircraft skidded off the runway and hit a rock, damaging the front of the aircraft—four of the 11 occupants were injured.
On August 4th, 2016,Cessna 208B 9N-AKC ditched in the Karnali river following a loss of engine power.
