Himalaya Airlines Commences Colombo Flight Today

Kathmandu – 01 October 2016

A joint venture airlines of Tibet and Nepal, Himalaya Airlines has commenced it’s flight on KTM-CMB route via it’s A320-200 (9N-ALM) aircraft.

As reported, the aircraft flew for Colombo, Srilanka at 11:30 am today with 100 passengers onboard from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Nepal.

After the today’s direct scheduled flight to Srilanka, Himalaya will be flying to two destinations i.e Qatar and Srilanka. According to the information obtained, Himalaya will conduct flight to Colombo thrice a week. The flight will be carried on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The aircraft will depart from Colombo to Kathmandu at around 4:15pm and arrive at 8pm. Himalaya has become the first airlines to connect Nepal and Srilanka without any transit point.

The airlines has marked one way economy class flight fare as Nrs. 29,191 whereas one way business class fare as Nrs. 49,319.
