9N-AET of Tara Air, which has been missing since Sunday, has been found in a crashed condition.
According to Rathi Narayan Silwal, Assistant Spokesperson of the Nepal Army, the aircraft debris was found at the crashed site nearby Thasang Gaunpalika Ward No. 2 of Mustang this morning.
An army team that went to search for the missing aircraft found the debris. Security personnel has been deployed at the crash site.
The plane, which took off from Pokhara at 9:55 a.m. on Sunday, was scheduled to land at Jomsom Airport in Mustang at 10:15 a.m. But the aircraft had been out of contact since 10:07 a.m.
The last time Tara Air’s 9N AET plane reached the skies of Mustang, it came in contact with the tower of Jomsom Airport at 10:07.
Captain Prabhakar Ghimire flew the aircraft. There were two other crew members and 19 passengers on board.
2 Germans, 4 Indians, and 13 Nepali passengers were on board.
