The first day of a two-day long program on ARFF International Conference, Educational Symposium and Exhibition 2017 concluded with presentation on different topics from delegates around the world. The ARFF Conference is a joint initiative of ARFFWG (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Working Group), Asia Pacific Region, Nepal Rescue and Firefighting Association (NRFFA) and supported by Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil aviation, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) along with Nepal Tourism Board.
The program today was inaugurated at Soaltee Crown Plaza through welcome speech by the Honorable Vice President of Nepal Nanda Bahadur Pun along with the presence of delegates from ARFFWG, NRFFA, airline companies, Nepal Army, Nepal Police and media personnel. The representative from different countries displayed their power point presentation on various topics such as aircraft rescue, firefighting, emergency exercise drills, aviation disaster management, wildlife hazard and many more. Also, the interaction was held between the audiences and the presenters about the above mentioned topics.
The overall presentation primarily focused on aviation safety and regulations and also provided an insight on importance of fire fighter and their contributions in the aviation rescue and safety. The exhibition was also held outside the conference hall in which firefighting accessories, drones, security devices were displayed.
The knowledge, experience and education about aviation, its safety and challenges was shared among different aviation experts and audiences from around the world. The conference will end tomorrow with similar type of schedule and NRFFA is proud to highlight the conference with the leading innovators and experts from around the world.
